Subject: CHESSS Last Hurrah Race - Revised Sailing Instructions Sent: 10/18/2024 01:29 pm GMT Please be advised updated sailing instructions have been uploaded - Regatta URL: https://nextsailor.com/regatta/643. These instructions clarify the starting area and the finish area. Current wind models look light early morning to very light the remaining part of the day. There is also a chance for the wind to drop dead and then shift direction. We will watch the weather forecast and adjust courses appropriately, with an expectation that we may need to shorten the course to R2 or G1A. It will be announced over the radio before or during the race as needed. Thanks again to Bacon Sails for sponsoring the awards for our race. We currently have enough entries for 1st Place award for Non-Spin and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for Spinnaker division. Don't forget the raft-up the evening before in the Rhodes River. That said, RC will be out on my brother-in-law's light green Trophy powerboat with my race mate. Therefore, signals will be via radio.
