Subject: CANCELLATION Sent: 09/28/2022 03:05 pm GMT Dear Admiral Byrd competitors,
The CYC race management team has been monitoring the pending weather closely for this weekend’s event. As it stands today, high winds are predicted for both Saturday and Sunday of more than 15kts and gusts of 25kts. This is less than ideal for the smaller fleet and has negatively impacted attendance thus far, consequently we are cancelling this weekend’s event. The Cambridge Yacht Club greatly appreciates your generosity and support of the event and will refund racing fees. We look forward to seeing you next year.
