Subject: Food and Bus Updates Sent: 10/22/2024 05:51 pm GMT Transportation This year we’re adding a bus from TYC on Friday after awards. What does this mean? It means you can move your boat on its bottom Friday morning, race, and get back to your vehicle that your leave on the south shore. We’re still running the bus on Saturday morning. We hope this makes logistics easier for a number of sailors. Friday, 2000 hrs, from TYC to SYC Saturday, 0730 hrs, from SYC to TYC Friday Luncheon On Friday during racing TYC will be hosting a luncheon for the ladies. Things kick off at 1pm with free food and a cash bar. Don’t let the skippers and crew have all the fun! Subject: Bridge Closed - Temporary Sent: 10/24/2024 10:19 pm GMT As of Thursday afternoon, the Hwy 11 bridge is not opening to marine traffic. The DOT said they should be fixing the issue in the morning (Friday). We will be monitoring the situation and discussing options at the skippers meeting.
Subject: Bridge Status Sent: 10/25/2024 02:13 pm GMT As of 9am Friday morning, DOT confirmed the Hwy 11 bridge is operational.
Subject: Racing Abandoned for Friday Sent: 10/25/2024 04:01 pm GMT Due to the Hwy 11 bridge status, racing has been abandoned for Friday. First start will be at 11am out of SYC on Saturday morning. The notice board and flags will be at SYC. We will plan on a steeple chase for our distance race from the south shore.

Marks on the South Shore designated on Attachment B will be used. The course will be displayed on the RC signal boat and will be announced over VHF Channel 72.
