SCHEDULE:
Check-in: Saturday, May 24th, between 08:45 and 9:30 at race site.
Saturday, Racing from 10:00 until 16:30
Lunch provided Sat. & Sun.
Saturday night Crawfish Boil @ 19:00 (map with directions will be available)
Sunday May 25th, warning signal 09:30, no race to start after 14:00.
ENTRY FEE: $60.00 (includes Saturday evening Crawfish Boil)
RACING FORMAT: If more than 20 boats are registered, races will be sailed in 2 heats. The Heat Management System will be used. Competitors will be chosen randomly and assigned to A or B heat for the first race. The results of the first race will count towards final scores.
SCORING: The Regatta will be scored in accordance with the Low Point Scoring system as set forth in Appendix A of the Racing Rules of Sailing. For each 6 races scored, one worst score will be excluded from the overall score.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Will be emailed to all competitors upon request, and be available at registration.
AWARDS: Prizes will be awarded to the top five finishers in the regatta
FREQUENCIES: Frequencies will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis, so please register soon!
RULES: Races are governed by the current International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) as modified by Appendix E, the prescriptions of US Sailing when they apply, and the rules of the Victoria Class and the Sailing Instructions.
All boats must have sail numbers.
All boats must comply with the Class Rules regarding performance criteria.
Measurement and Class authenticity verification may be conducted on site on a random basis as determined by the Regatta Director, during check in and registration.
AMYA membership is required for this event.
